Mr Nazir did an incredible job on my right foot in 2020. I have since done the 3 Peaks Challenge and a big section of the Camino with absolutely no foot pain whatsoever. My left foot had deteriorated, so in Jan 2025 I had the same surgery on that foot. As before Mr Nazir and his team provided a highly skilful seamless service from beginning to end and I am again delighted with the outcome.
Dr Nasir was amazing. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain after the surgery but I had very limited discomfort. He did such a good job and his bedside manner is a dream. I’m so glad I did my research.
Great experience! I was apprehensive about bunion surgery since I heard it was so painful, but that couldn't have been farther from my experience. Mr Nazir very kindly took the time to explain the procedure in detail and answer all my questions (both during our appointments and later over the phone since I called to ask even more questions). I also found the information Mr Nazir provided online very useful, including the timeline of recovery which was spot on in my case. I had bunion surgery on both feet at the same time, and about 3 months later I'm walking normally without any pain, and the difference in my feet is quite evident. I attribute my quick recovery to Mr Nazir's very skilled hands and physiotherapy after surgery. I highly recommend this clinic if you are in need of bunion surgery.
The recovery time of the minimally invasive surgery option is about half or less that of other methods.
You will have a one week review with Mr Nazir in person or over the phone. Activities can be increased to 15 minutes an hour in a post-operative shoe.
We will arrange a second review where sutures will be removed. Return to trainers if swelling has subsided enough. You can mobilise for 20 minutes an hour.
You can now walk up to 30 minutes an hour and use static weights or an exercise bike.
Full return to normal activities and use of a range of shoes.
In most cases, swelling will have completely subsided.
The best way to get started is to book a consultation.
When a bunion develops the big toe will typically start to point towards the other toes on the same foot, which may then result in the metatarsal bone attached to point outwards.
It's important we determine which surgery is most suitable for your type of Bunion and circumstances.
We need to see what is going on inside your foot to see how best to treat your Bunion.
You will come in for a single day surgery, and be able to leave the same day.
We will give you instructions on your aftercare.
When you have your consultation we will be able to tell you if you are suitable for the minimally invasive surgery, or an alternative.
